Hi, I'm Melissa Haworth and this is my little corner of the blogosphere where I write about my attempts at craftiness my daughter, Biscuit, born October 2005 and my husband, Mr. H. We live in Sacramento, California where we always have some projects under way.

1. I am 32 years old
2. I met my husband (Mr. H) in a woodshop
3. Until I was 29 I didn't think I ever wanted to have children
4. Our daughter's name isn't really Biscuit
5. I have the worst sense of direction of anyone I know
6. I played field hockey for 7 years
7. I think it would be fun to have chickens (and now I have one)
8. I worked as a house painter one summer during college
9. I also worked as a cook for a fraternity
10. I'm not an especially good cook but I like it anyway
