Back in the saddle

When Kathreen started the Whiplash competitions over at Whip Up! I entered every week for the first six weeks.  And I haven't entered since.  But, in the name of new beginnings in the new year, I'm going to enter my extraordinarily late Christmas gift for my mom.

Sweater

The sweater is made out of a felted sweater from Goodwill and the hanger is out of copper wire.  The little buttons actually button and unbutton in their little button holes.

I had intended to make this BEFORE Christmas and once it was New Year's I sort of gave up.  But of course my mom had seen the previous version on the blog and requested one.  So I just finished this today. My mom isn't a pink person but this sweater felted up so great I had to use it.

It's a gift, but I'm entering the decoration category for Whiplash since it's a wee Christmas ornament.
