They couldn't see a fracture on the x-ray but there was clearly a problem so they recommended immobilizing the ankle. I didn't quite realize what that would look like.
She is actually in a great mood and getting spoiled with lots of toys (especially when mommy had to make a phone call for work).
The aftermath of the call. (The Car and Driver magazine was a surprising hit)
Now she's napping so I'm racing to get everything done. Hope you had a better weekend.

Poor Biscuit!!! Poor Mommy!!! Hang in there...

"Immobilized" seems to be putting it lightly!
Hope you both feel better soon!

Your sister is on her way to help. WB will be surprised.

aaaack! You poor dears! She appears more irritated than anything at the moment, which is good, I suppose.
And, really, what mom *wouldn't* have gone down the slide with her scared baby? It could have happened to anyone.

Poor girl! I wish you luck!

Oh! I thought you got hurt, your poor little girl! The good news is that she will heal fast and not even remember this when she gets older. A friend of mine has a girl who had the same type of "toddler" fracture. Hopefully they can graduate her to an air cast soon! I got my doll quilt yesterday, it's so sweet! I also love the note card, what a cute idea! Thanks again. I'll put your fabric in the mail by the end of the week!

Oh poor Baby - and poor Mom also.
Hey sometimes a little Car and Driver can make things better!

Oh, that is pitiful. I am so sorry to see that little one like that. And you? It's gotta be rough on you! Eeek.
