Screen printing on the brain--it must be time for the annual holiday card photo
This is the image I used for last year's holiday cards. Back in the day (pre-Biscuit) I handmade original cards each year which was fun but really time consuming.
When Biscuit was a newborn I used an iron on transfer to put "merry christmas" on a onesie, added a red santa hat, laid her on a table cloth and thus a holiday card tradition was born.
Last year I dragged her up to the mountains for a photo shoot in the trees (even though all you can see is a pine cone).
November sort of snuck up on me this year but I've been working on a new t-shirt image. I really don't like the iron on transfer stuff so I'm going to screen print. The potential designs are in the attached pdf (see below), I would love your feedback. I'm no graphic designer but I've been having fun messing with fonts. I wish I could embed the designs in this post but that seems to require skills I do not possess.
I plan to screen print this week and while I'm making the screen, I can run extra shirts. Would anyone be interested in buying one for their holiday photo (for kids or adults). I know it's kind of late but let me know and I can set it up. It's a super easy idea for a card or just for a kid photo to send to friends.Download christmas_tshirt_ideas_page_1.pdf Download christmas_tshirt_ideas_page_2.pdf
