Last time we'll be invited over

We were invited to a neighbor's New Year's Eve party. It was a no kids affair (starting after bedtime) but we asked if we could bring Biscuit, asleep, to their house to slumber in their port-a-crib while we enjoyed food, drink, board games and a dropping ball.

It didn't go according to plan.
