How a free tire costs $40

100_8772
Our swing broke (thanks, semi-unresponsible, neighborhood teenager garden-sitter). So my mom got us a tire thinking a tire swing might enhance the rope hanging from our giant tree. I think she was thinking sideways tire, rope tied on, voila, swing.

Mr. H had other ideas. He saw a tire swing with the really nice (won't pinch your fingers, will last forever, perfectly even) chain, several oversize washers, 6 carabeeners and a stainless steel ring.

Very sturdy! Very fun!

Now that's a cool swing!

Wow, Mr. H is handy! Guess I already knew that though. Awesome swing! Makes me wish we had a tree growing up. Well, we did have a tree but it was way too wimpy for any kind of swing. Oh well...

How fun. I always wanted one of these!!! Can't wait for a yard.

Cool swing!

I've been regretting giving the dogs so much of our backyard for their run - they get the avocado tree to themselves. Oh well, the kids have a rickety old metal swing frame.

Wow, send him to my house!!! We've got a huge oak tree in the backyard in need of a swing.

wow... best 40.00 you ever spent!
