In the meantime, an evening's work:
I love the process of construction and seeing something come together. It seems so amazing to turn a pile of 2x4s and other materials into an entire structure. Even as I watch (and sometimes help with) every step it feels like a surprise.
For now it's a nice restaurant order window for Biscuit.

Oh I know! When we changed our porch to a dining room, I was all, "OMG! We are creating MORE HOUSE! Out of stuff we got at Home Depot!!"

Our neighbors just got baby chicks also...they are building the same coop!
I want chickens...
I can't wait to see that little shindig when it's done. How are you going to keep the little kids out?
