Some last minute gifts completed yesterday in the nick of time. A Wee Wonderfuls doll for my niece.
The super fancy dressing table Mr. H made Biscuit. She was sort of hilariously underwhelmed. She saw it and her reaction could be summed up as, "Yeah, daddy made it. That's what I asked for. Duh." Maybe it's time to stop meeting expectations for this kid and instill a little more sense of gratitude? In any case, paired with the pounds of candy Santa delivered the dressing table has been playing candy store all morning and despite its lukewarm response I think it will be a play staple.
Mr. H is reading his Christmas book (At Home by Bill Bryson) and I'm getting ready to finish up and wrap a few more presents (what?) before we head to my parents' house for Christmas dinner.

Wow, that dressing table is amazing! I'm sure it'll get plenty of use. If not, it could find it's way over to my place. hehe.
Merry Christmas!

LOVE the wee wonderfuls doll -- so very cute! And that dressing table does look like a ton of fun for little girls!

Mr H did a wonderful job - she'll realise that when she's older.
The doll is very sweet. What fabric did you use to make it?

UK Lass, The doll body was just the heaviest weight quilting cotton I could find at JoAnns. The dress was a scrap I was gifted by a friend so I dont know anything about it. Im useless, eh?
