Ali posted her "week in the life" wrap up which reminded me I never posted mine here. Even though I did give some sneak peeks when I was working on the photos back in June. Wow, that seems like a long time ago.
As far as I can tell from my archives, I didn't post photos of the finished project last year but this year is quite similar. Lots of masking tape, photo holders that are actually too large for the faux wood grain binder and divider pages for each day featuring a favorite 5x7.
This year I had a lot less "stuff" (notes, receipts etc) but worked with what I did have. I think this was a function of it being summer and my being on maternity leave.
This year I wrote the photo captions ON the photos. I like the casual, handwritten look and it was quick and easy. Used a pigma pen (is that the name? too lazy to go look) and it worked great!
Some of my favorite elements are the page about "stuff we loved" that was super random and the pages I wrote about each kid. They are only posting sideways but here's an example:
Also, Biscuit wanted to contribute:
Funny enough I realized the entire week I got exactly zero photos of me by myself. And the only photos I was even in were a few Biscuit took of me holding Oscar and the family photos. On the last day of the project I literally rounded everyone up for a "come as you are" family snapshot. Nobody looks their best but so glad I captured these. Sideways outtakes below.
Already I love having two years worth of this project on the shelf.

Fantastic! I'm still working on mine. I love what you have done. You make it look so easy. I'm inspired to finish up (hopefully this weekend). THanks.

Thanks, Margie. With a newborn in the house easy and done was my goal. It was quick and dirty but very manageable workload-wise. Good luck wrapping up your project!
