1. we're home. it was an AWESOME trip
2. I keep falling asleep rather than blogging and now have a weird blogging block
3. decided to focus my trip recap on a few photos I like best from 2.5 weeks and 4600 miles on the road.
3a. Sibling love. Can't say enough about these two. He was awesome (except while dining out) and she was endlessly patient and entertaining and helpful toward him
3b. We saw a lot of wildlife but the bison (and baby bison!) were my favorites. Herds and herds and (frighteningly, sometimes) right by the car. Our animal-loving baby was enthralled
Oddly, both those photos are from the same day at Custer State Park in South Dakota.
3c. We fit in the Fit. And the gas mileage was awesome.
After arriving home, three out of four of us and everything we had in that wee little car.
Wow, great photos. I still don't believe you that ALL of that stuff fit in that car. :)

Glad you had a great time and made it back in one piece. Please seriously submit the Fit photo to Honda. You guys outta be in a commercial!! Let's get together/scrap soon!

I agree that you should send your Fit photo to Honda! What an amazing feat! It inspires me to take our Accord instead of our MDX on a road trip we have planned for next year.
