So Susan won the drawing for the Gray, Mustard, and Peacock quilt.
But ages and ages ago now KrisFun won the Irresistable quilt. This is what it looked like when I sent it:
Shades of white and tan made of a wide variety of materials (cotton, linen, wool, rayon, polyester etc--both natural and synthetic fibers). The experiment was to see the result when different fibers took dye at different rates.
KrisFun listed her favorite color as Navy Blue. The directions with the quilt told her to wash it in the washing machine.
This was the result.
Meh.
And the back was a white on white print. That was kind of cool.
So I gotta say I wasn't super jazzed about this result and I feel a bit bad for KrisFun but such is the nature of experimentation. And, I came up with an alternate version of this quilt that I'm VERY excited about. We'll see...

That turned out gorgeous! What a creative funky quilt!!!

My kids love it, so although it may not be your ideal, it's getting good use!
