The checklists have been around longer than the clothes bags and they aren't perfect but they have helped. Even when the official checklist is lost somewhere in the house, it's given us an agreed upon list to mentally check off.
And really, the two of them eating breakfast while I try to get ready? SO CUTE!
There's also an after school checklist that includes:
- Read a good book
- Take care of chickens
- Have fun playing
- Set table for dinner
- Bath and teeth brushing
- something else I can't recall
That one is currently lost and isn't quite as important/used as the morning list. She mostly focuses on checking off the "have fun playing" item :)
Obviously all I did was write the list (with a boring pen on plain printer paper--no need to be fancy) put it in a clip frame I had lying about and give Biscuit a dry erase marker. Easy Peasy!
Actually, looking at these photos, I think those grapes are basically the last food Oscar ate (Monday, breakfast). With this flu he will. not. eat. But seems in good spirits and definitely on the up swing.
