Have you read that Atlantic article about leaving kids alone to play? I actually feel like I do a decent job of that but since reading the (fascinating) article I'm even more concious of just letting them be. And for Biscuit in particular, letting her roam a bit farther.
Yesterday the weather was just amazing. Warm but with intermittent rain and sun and just unbelievable clouds. We headed to the river. To the "watering hole" as Biscuit has dubbed this particular area. Oscar played in the mud and listened to frogs. Biscuit inhabited her own mini island. The rain came down and then stopped. We didn't see a rainbow but it was a magical hour.
