Phew. October is BUSY. It's a busy season for work but then you add in birthdays (Biscuit's and my mom's), soccer and Halloween and the weekends fill up. This year we also added finishing a book and a first annual neighborhood party.
All good stuff but once that wrapped up I pretty much signed off the computer and went to bed. For a week.
But I can report on a few key lessons learned.
- The more balloons the better.
- This is a good Red Velvet Cake recipe. But choose an alternate frosting.
- Four year olds are really too young for organized soccer. Though it was an absolute joy to watch the games. SO FUNNY.
- If you have nice neighbors, throw a party. Especially if one of the neighbors makes really good home brewed beer.
This weekend will be filled with shipping books to our Kickstarter supporters and then, before you know it, it's the holidays. Isn't it amazing how once you hit November it's a quick slide to New Years? Happy November, everyone.
