This is the project I was working on using the funny phonics quiz. I enlarged the drawings on a copier, transfered them to plywood (cut and rounded by Mr. H), drilled a connect-the-dots pattern and stitched 'em up.
Below is "lean beef." I'll mail it to anyone (in the U.S.) who can correctly identify: what is wrong with this picture AND where I saw the joke (recently) whose punchline was "lean beef" and perfect for this image. Good luck. Part one is not hard, part two might be....
"Bacon" was the first one I made and sent to a friend and pork lover (and almost homeowner!)
Bacon might be my favorite of the bunch.
These were fun! I have no idea what I'll do with them but it was one of those projects that popped into my head and had to be done. Right. Now.
I might have more to say about this but I wore myself out cooking today. Enchiladas with sauce from scratch, beans from dried and beef crockpotted. I'm also prepping food for a short camping trip: cookies, granola, this sandwich filling, homemade bread etc etc. I'm tuckered and gonna need the rest camping!
ooo have fun camping! I got 1, but am clueless on the "lean beef" second part. hummmm....

What do you call a cow with no legs jumping over a barb wire fence? Udder Destruction

What a great idea, I love it! What did you use to drill such teeny holes?

I LOVE "bacon". Your friend is super lucky to have it--and you as a friend! ;)

The missing leg is the answer to part one. The horns and udder matching was
an unfortunate unintended consequence of having to drill holes for each
stitch :)

I just drilled them on a drill press using a tiny bit (1/6 inch maybe?)
