My mother-in-law has a close friend who is a prolific and talented quilter. We just received gifts from her for Oscar and Biscuit. Wow. Totally blog worthy. I should have photographed the entire quilt but this will give you the idea.
The quilt is a mix of chenille, flannel and embroidered squares. Each embroidery also includes applique elements that relate to interests Mr. H and I have from boating to making jam to raising chickens and woodworking. Amazing!
And that wasn't all.
Biscuit received an embroidered mini quilt along with a doll and all of his/her accessories such as bibs, clothes, hats, binky etc all in blue. Needless to say, the doll is now named Sally. And Sally travels everywhere with us.
Sometimes she travels securely in her backpack strap moby wrap. Sometimes she's just tagging along.
If you need a gift for a big sister, a decked out doll set seems to be perfect. Thanks, Anita.
So glad that Oscar and Biscuit are enjoying their goodies. It was my pleasure.
Love, Anita
