Biscuit spent Thursday through Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa's house at a circus themed "camp." Oscar is there now which is how I can be posting at 10:30 pm. This is normally bedtime (fight time) with him but he is snoozing at his grandparents.
So in addition to: seeing a movie, seeing a music performance and going to the county fair Biscuit and Grandma also worked out an all-family circus. (but let's be honest, it was mostly Grandma, she can do a theme like nobody's business).
We all arrived Sunday to play our parts. Biscuit served as the very able ringmaster (and snake charmer) and my mom was the clown/magician. Unfortunately our strong man (Oscar) wasn't into it but my brother-in-law more than filled the gap in addition to his previously assigned role of elephant. Oscar wasn't into much of it but he did say "abracadabra" for the magic act and ate a lot of candy. Other than him, we all did our parts and laughed a LOT. Mr. H (who was designated as a spectator) was able to step in as a lion tamer for a hilarious act with my sister. But the best act was probably my niece, the seal, who received a paper fish for her rolling over trick AND could balance a ball on her cute little nose.
It's not every family who would do a circus but I'm glad ours will. I'm even more glad that I don't seem to have any photos of my own tightrope act in the crazy silver mini skirt and vest I was assigned to wear. ;)
Grandma Camp sounds awesome! I'm sensing another book!
